To create an Instagram account, you will need to enter your personal information and credentials, such as email id and phone number. We are the ones who create mail IDs but do not use them much. This can lead to slow loss of access to the ID. You will need to remove the lost ID and enter the new email ID on Instagram. Here's how to replace an old email address with a new one on Instagram.

You can change not only your email ID but also your phone number and date of birth on Instagram. Similar changes can be made to the profile name of the account.

1. To change your email id on Instagram, first open the Instagram app on your Android or iOS device.

2. Then tap on the profile icon which can be seen on the bottom right.

3. Then tap on the 'Edit Profile' option and then on the Personal Information settings.

4. Now, click on the Email ID option and type in your new Email ID.

5. Now you need to confirm the new mail id. To do this, tap on the blue tick option.

6. When you have done this, you will receive an email confirmation link in the mail from Instagram.

7. You can change this email id on Instagram by opening this mail and clicking on the confirmation button.
